How To Get Started
You're just three steps away from
working with HR Associates:
1. Send us your Resume
By applying to a job posting or sending us your resume directly, you will be
considered for employment with HR Associates. After your resume is received,
your skills and qualifications will be assessed. Qualified candidates will
be called to discuss potential opportunities, and an interview will be
scheduled for you with one of our Employment Consultants.
2. Interview
The interview is our chance to get to know you beyond the resume. We will
ask you a series of behavioural questions designed to show us how you would
react in various situations. It is also your chance to ask our Employment
Consultant any questions you may have, and to let us know what type of work
you are interested in.
Following the interview, skills testing may be required. Our computerized
tests will assess your skills in spelling, grammar, typing, and various
software applications that may be required on the job. But relax! Our tests
are not designed to “pass” or “fail” you, they will simply indicate whether
your skills in these areas are at a “basic”, “intermediate”, or “advanced”
level.

3. Reference Check
We require the contact information of two or three work-related references
that we can contact to verify your past employment. We prefer that the
references you provide be past supervisors or managers. Please be prepared
by bringing the names and telephone numbers of your references along with
you to the interview.
And that’s it! Once you
have been interviewed and your references confirmed, we can consider you for
assignments.
