How We Work With You

We Keep it Simple

Looking for a job can be stressful and time-consuming, but it doesn’t have to be. When you register with HR Associates, you will automatically be considered for any current and future opportunities to which your skills are suited. With just one interview, you will be considered for many positions.

We Let you Choose

We know that you want to maximize your chances of finding a great job – that’s why you’re here! At HR Associates, we don’t ask you to sign exclusivity contracts or stop looking elsewhere, and we will always call to confirm your interest and availability before sending your resume to a client.

If, after registering, you decide to accept a permanent position or are no longer interested in being considered for assignments with us, just let us know and we will take you off our roster. You have nothing to lose by registering with us, and maybe a great career to gain!

We are Your Employer

Though you are placed at a clients’ office, you are an employee of HR Associates. We take care of all the administrative functions of your employment, such as:

  • Paying your wages, stat holiday pay, WSIB, CPP, EI and vacation pay.

Our clients pay us your hourly rate plus administrative fees to cover additional expenses. Our employees are paid once a week, via timesheets that are filled out by you and signed by your on-site supervisor.

  • Coordinating time off and changes to scheduled hours.

If you are going to be late for your assignment or cannot be there due to illness or other unforeseen circumstances, it is HR Associates who you should call. We will notify your supervisor, and arrange a replacement for you if necessary. The same is true if you need to schedule time off in advance.
